Accelonix Inspection Xpress (FAI)

The Accelonix Inspection Xpress FAI‘s first article inspection solution essentially replaces the current manual paper-based quality check where a microscope and a checklist is used for inspecting the first PCBA product which is coming down from the production line.

A patented technology used at Inspection Xpress which dramatically speeds up the inspection process itself to shorten this quality stage as short as possible without increasing the risk of letting the production process goes wrong. With that feature users check all reference designators together, grouped by partnumbers and visualize all component in a form where any component defect – like existence polarity OCR and others – became easily distinguishable for the user.

With this system, it is not only possible to check the mounted components – for existence and quality – it also allows you to check positions that you did not want to populate, and furthermore the entire product surface for unexpected objects.

With the report generated at the end of the inspection process, does a paperless evicence for the manufacturing that the production line has passed the initial quality step before mass production.
